Jeremiah 15-17
So Jeremiah and God are having unbelievable conversations, and God is NOT too happy with what some of the people are doing and saying. God has given them what they've needed and still they ask why they have traveled out as far as they did; they have turned their backs on Him.
So God effortlessly says to Jeremiah that he is going to destroy them all. Jeremiah has been all about God the whole time and has praised God throughout the whole journey. Let me quote what I find to be some of the most powerful words in this selection.
"God, pick up the pieces. Put me back together again. YOU ARE MY PRAISE!" (Jeremiah 17: 14)
GOD you are my praise! Nothing has ever stood out as well as this did when I'd read it. What an awesome prayer to the Lord. I know that is music the the King's ears!! Praise the Lord when troubled, happy, sad, scared. No matter what-Praise His Holy Name! He would love nothing more than to walk by your side and help you throughout it all. Just turn your eyes upon Him and He will hold you up!

Day 4: Afraid of Snakes?
NUMBERS 21:4-9  4 They traveled from Mount Hor along the route to the Red Sea,[a] to go around Edom. There is no water! And we detest this miserable food!”  6 Then the LORD sent venomous snakes among them; they bit...

DANIEL 5  1 King Belshazzar gave a great banquet for a thousand of his nobles and drank wine with them. 2 While Belshazzar was drinking his wine, he gave orders to bring in the gold and silver goblets that Nebuchadnezzar his father[a] had taken from the temple in Jerusalem, so that the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines might drink from them. 3 So they brought in the gold goblets...

Day 2: Solar Standstill
JOSHUA 10: 1-15  1 Now Adoni-Zedek king of Jerusalem heard that Joshua had taken Ai and totally destroyed[a] it, doing to Ai and its king as he had done to Jericho and its king, and that the people of Gibeon had made a treaty of peace with Israel and had become their allies. 2 He and his people were very much alarmed at this, because Gibeon was an important city, like one of the royal cities;...

Day 1: Numbers 11
Fire From the LORD  1 Now the people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the LORD, and when he heard them his anger was aroused. Then fire from the LORD burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp. 2 When the people cried out to Moses, he prayed to the LORD and the fire died down. 3 So that place was called Taberah,[a] because fire from the LORD had burned...
